Our Story

Coffee done right doesn't require a fancy address.

Well House Coffee started with a simple conviction: the best coffee shouldn't require a pilgrimage to find it. Located on Delaney Road in southeast Salem, we've built a space where the roast is the star and the atmosphere is just warm enough.

We source green beans from growers who treat their land well, roast them in small batches right here in Salem, and pull every shot with the kind of attention most places reserve for their best customers. Yes, that means your pour-over takes a minute. That's the point.

Our kitchen bakes everything from scratch — croissants, scones, breads — because a great coffee deserves a great companion. No microwave, no shortcuts. Just good food and good people, same as always.

The Roastery

Roasted on-site, every week.

You won't find bags with a roast date from last month on our shelves. We roast in small batches — usually two to three times a week — so everything you drink is as fresh as it possibly can be.

Our green bean selection comes from farms that practice sustainable agriculture. We work directly with importers who prioritize quality and fair compensation. The result is coffee that tastes like where it came from — bright, complex, and honest.
